Senior Project Manager

Multiple Locations- Hanoi, VA & Ho Chi Minh City, VA

  • We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic Senior Project Manager to oversee complex projects and ensure their successful delivery. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the BPO industry, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in project management. This role involves managing multiple projects, coordinating with various stakeholders, and driving project execution from inception to completion.

    The Work

    1. Project Planning and Initiation:

       - Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

       - Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates.

       - Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

    2. Project Execution and Monitoring:

       - Lead project teams to ensure adherence to project plans and timelines.

       - Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within budget.

       - Implement project management best practices and methodologies to ensure quality and efficiency.

    3. Stakeholder Management:

       - Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns.

       - Facilitate communication between internal teams, clients, and other stakeholders.

       - Manage client expectations and ensure alignment with project goals.

    4. Resource Management:

       - Allocate resources effectively to ensure project requirements are met.

       - Identify and address resource gaps, ensuring project teams are adequately staffed and equipped.

       - Coordinate with HR and other departments to recruit and onboard project team members as needed.

    5. Quality Assurance:

       - Establish and maintain quality standards for project deliverables.

       - Conduct regular quality checks and reviews to ensure compliance with project requirements.

       - Implement corrective actions to address any deviations from quality standards.

    6. Risk Management:

       - Identify potential project risks and develop contingency plans.

       - Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution of issues.

       - Report on risk status and mitigation efforts to senior management.

    7. Performance Tracking and Reporting:

       - Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and project milestones.

       - Prepare and present detailed project reports to senior management and stakeholders.

       - Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and improve project outcomes.

    8. Continuous Improvement:

       - Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance project efficiency.

       - Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in project management.

       - Share knowledge and mentor junior project managers and team members.

    9. Budget Management:

       - Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial resources are used effectively.

       - Monitor expenses and ensure projects stay within budget constraints.

       - Report on budget status and financial performance to senior management.

  • - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. PMP or equivalent certification is preferred.

    - Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with a focus on the BPO industry.

    - Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex projects successfully.

    - Strong understanding of BPO services, industry trends, and market dynamics.

    - Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

    - Proficiency in project management software and tools.

    - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

    - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.

    - Willingness to travel as required.
